PRASEG Chair, Bim Afolami MP led discussions after a presentation on planned reforms to discuss grid connections and transmission. Reforms set out by National Grid ESO will help to ensure the connections process is fit for a flexible, renewables-based energy system. Parliamentarians were welcomed  to bring to specific cases from their Constituencies to be addressed by ESO, and to understand how planned improvements will impact grid operation, transmission infrastructure and new connections in their constituencies.
